Retrofitted the full agent layer
llms.txt, clean AI-crawler rules, structured markup — made the site legible to the agents now doing the answering. If ChatGPT and Perplexity can't read a site, they can't cite it.
Built a FEMA flood-zone checker into the site
Added a tool that lets a visitor type in their address and see their FEMA flood zone, right on the page. On-page utility like this earns links and citations a wall of text never will.
Shipped a living flash-flood response page
When back-to-back flash floods hit Shreveport this summer, shreveportfloodcleanup.com had a same-week page documenting each event — the fresh, local, first-hand coverage answer engines reward. It takes a new row every time the next storm hits.
